NINA AND ASHA MOVE IN TOGETHER AS CORRIE TEASES A SURPRISE NEW CHAPTER!!!
Coronation Street‘s Nina Lucas and Asha Alahan spontaneously move in together next week – but will everyone be supportive of their new living situation?
At the start of the week, cheapskate Dev offers Asha, Nina and Summer Spellman some cash to redecorate the shop flat for him – but when Asha floats the idea that she’d like to rent the flat herself, he coldly tells his daughter that she can’t afford it.
Seeing the opportunity, Nina offers to be Asha’s flatmate…

“Moving in with your ex-girlfriend – what could possibly go wrong?” ponders our cobbles source. “Dev is devastated that his daughter is planning to leave home for the first time and can’t cope with the realisation that she’s serious about the plan.
“Nina also has her own paternal figure to break the news to – and she fears how Roy will react to the revelation that she’s moving out after living with him for so many years…”
With the move in motion, there’s one person who couldn’t be more supportive – Summer. Overjoyed for her pals, she treats them to dinner and an array of housewarming gifts, asserting that there’s no better way to spend her late father Billy Mayhew’s inheritance money.
As the girls unpack their things and start their new chapter, will Roy and Dev come round to the girls’ newfound independence?
And will moving in with an ex prove to be a catastrophic mistake for Asha and Nina?

Speaking recently about what’s in store for her character’s love life, Tanisha Gorey – who plays Asha – teased the possibility of a new love interest.
“There’s definitely something on the horizon and it’s really sweet,” she told Inside Soap. “It’s also a little bit sad, but we see Asha having to be supportive. I really hope the fans get behind the story and what’s coming up!”
She added: “I feel the reason Asha and Nina happened was because of the love of the fans. They just loved us together, and I loved Nina and Asha together too. I loved how they were the complete opposite; Asha is pink, girly, and Little Mix-y and Nina is the goth of the street and really cool. I loved how they found common ground and loved each other.
“There’s a little group of four of us – Asha, Summer, Amy and Nina. I really, really enjoy the fact that we hang out, there’s no animosity and we’ve managed to stay good friends throughout it all. We’ve got over it like mature adults and we’re wading through.”
