CORONATION STREET MYSTERY: SHARP-EYED FANS FINALLY ‘SOLVE’ GARY AND SARAH PLOT AMID HIGHLY ODD BEHAVIOUR!
There’s something shifty going on between Gary Windass (Mikey North) and Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), and Coronation Street fans think they’ve worked out exactly what it is.
The pair have shared several private chats over the past few weeks, much to Maria Connor’s (Samia Longchambon) discomfort.
Maria’s concern is certainly understandable, given Sarah and Gary’s history.
Before his marriage to Maria, Gary had a solid relationship with Sarah from 2016 to 2019, but things came to an end after his involvement with loan shark Rick Neelan.
After some periods of animosity, Gary and Sarah seem to be back on the same team, which has left viewers with a theory…
The ex-lovers have been growing closer ever since the night of Theo Silverton’s murder – the same night Sarah was attacked by Jodie Ramsey (Olivia Frances-Brown).
While some may think that their shiftiness hints that they have some involvement in the murder itself, a lot of fans have a different idea.

It wouldn’t be too much of a stretch to assume that Gary and Sarah spent the night together. It would certainly explain why Gary was so keen to stop Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) from seeing the CCTV from that night. Could it have shown more than just Gary’s destruction of Theo’s van?
Kit and Sarah are currently dating, and while he’s been away, Sarah has repeatedly called expressing how much she misses him. While this could be attributed to her struggling after her attack, it could also point to guilt for cheating on him.

Not to mention the fact that Gary also lied to Maria about where he was on the night of Theo’s murder, and looked as though he were about to confess to something else before telling her about smashing up Theo’s van…
